Prices vary based on estimated time required to ensure that all income levels can afford a well-written resume. Your resume includes a pre-fixed amount of time that includes the first and second interviews as well as the first and final drafts. Your estimate typically offers enough time, however, should you need more time, it can be purchased at a rate of $65 per hour. Exact quotes are given on an individual basis once the previous draft or list of jobs has been assessed, however, most resumes fall into the following guidelines:
Recent college grads/service industry - 3 hours of interview time - $250
Mid-level managers/young professionals - 4 hours of interview time - $350
Most corporate professionals/sales - 5 hours of interview time - $450
C-level executives/technical careers - 6 hours of interview time - $550
To get a precise quote on your resume please send a copy of your current draft to monica@nextgenresumes.com. If you do not have a current draft, please send a list of the jobs you’ve held, the title and month/year you worked at each. You will receive a quote and sample resumes in return. Should you choose to move forward, simply respond to the email and a time will be scheduled for the first interview.
COVER LETTER - $80
In general, a cover letter should sew the job requisition to the resume. It should point out things in your experience that directly relate to the skills the company is looking for in a candidate. Cover letters are largely a thing of the past, however, if a company is asking for one, it’s most likely because they want to see if you will write something custom for their opportunity. Therefore, using a cover letter template is discouraged.
However, some people find it helpful to have their first cover letter written professionally so that they can customize it after that for each opportunity. Should you opt to have one written, please provide a job requisition you are interested in once your resume is complete and a custom cover letter will be created based on your specific skill set and career history.
BIOGRAPHY - $80
A biography is typically a paragraph or two that describes a person’s history. The information appropriate for each biography depends on where/how it is used and may include information not previously gathered in your resume. Should you need a bio, this service is also provided as an add-on to your resume.
LINKED IN PROFILE - $80
LinkedIn is rapidly becoming a critical tool for people in virtually every industry. Recruiters often say that it is the only resource they use in finding new candidates. Therefore, it is extremely important that your LinkedIn profile mirrors precisely the information detailed in your resume.
Once your resume is complete, you can do this update yourself. Should you not have the time or want to ensure it’s done with precision and accuracy you can have it done for you as an add-on service to your resume.
